Mighty Rome: Another Fabulous Week Guide Lecturing for Andante Travels
The Happy Archaeologist has completed another fabulous trip to Rome guide lecturing for Andante Travels.
Highlights of the week included the Villa of the Quintili and Villa of Maxentius on Appian Way Day; Nero’s Domus Aurea and the Colosseum; the forum Romanum and imperial palace on the Palatine Hill; a day in the Campus Martius themed around Augustus including visits to the Pantheon (pictured) and Ara Pacis altar to peace: and a morning in incredible Ostia Antica, port of Ancient Rome and a city frozen in time.
